About community lawyer

People who seek help from a lawyer actually face two problems. First, there is the legal issue, of course. Second, there is the fear of the unknown—not knowing what to expect, how to deal with a lawyer, what questions to ask, how to pay their legal fees, what is happening to the file, and so on. The goal of community lawyer is not only to help you with your legal issues but also to make you feel comfortable and confident along the way.

To achieve this ambitious task, community lawyer strives to be “client-centred”—meaning we do business in a way that makes sense to you the client; not us, the firm. So how does this “client-centred” approach look like? Below is a list of some of the things community lawyer's clients enjoy:

  • community lawyer is paperless (or very close): all of our communications and documents will be exchanged electronically via a mobile, secure app or via email.
  • community lawyer is mobile: all of our meetings will happen online (unless you would like to meet in person).
  • community lawyer is transparent: you will have 24/7 access to your file from the comfort of your home. You will have access to all documents, emails, and other notes on your file at all times. You can also book a 15-minute call with community lawyer via the online calendar to ask about the status of your file.
  • community lawyer is affordable: clear, upfront, and affordable pricing.
  • community lawyer is accessible: You will deal only with one person at community lawyer. No secretaries, gatekeepers, or other lawyers on file that have a limited understanding of your file. The online calendar is always online, which means you always know when I'm available and you can always book a meeting that is convenient for you to discuss your matter.
